Party Trends of the Year

2020 has been a strange year to say the least and party trends have changed considerably since the beginning of the year but now we are slowly getting back to 'normal' parties and events are starting back up again. Here is a look at some of this years top party trends. Throw a instragrammable socially distanced party with these stylish ideas;

1 . Rainbows

Rainbows have been a constant image over lock down. The Queen even said the rainbows would be the symbol of the UK's 'national spirit' in the face of the pandemic. So its no surprise that people are incorporating rainbows into every party decor.

 2. Eco-friendly Parties

The world is working hard to reduce their impact on the planet and the party industry is making it easier for party planners to do this by offering eco-friendly alternatives. Switching from paper napkins to linen ones or using metal straws and bamboo cutlery.
3. Grazing Tables
Pinterest have reported searches for grazing tables are up by 153% at its no wonder, this trend can be used at any type of party; baby showers, weddings or birthdays. Grazing tables allow guests to casually mingle whilst feasting on great cheeses, meats and other finger foods and they look amazing too. Another photo opportunity.
4. Make it personal
Adding a personal touch to your party takes it to the next level. Whether it be personalising wedding favours for each guest or adding the details of your event to party stationary personalised items act as a keepsake for after the party.

5. Textured backdrops
Make a statement with a textured picture worthy backdrop. The possibilities are endless but so long as there is a mix of different textures then you are onto a winner. You can add texture with balloons, streamers or a popular choice this year is dried flowers
